Year 5 PSHE: Movement and connection

In PSHE and class assembly time we have been thinking about taking care of our mental health. The 6 main ways we’ve been thinking about to improve our mental wellbeing are:



·Take Notice

·Be active

·Sleep Well

·Keep Learning


In order to “Be Active”, Year 5 have been having Daily Movement breaks, where we go outside or do a whole class Jo Wicks inspired workout. We also have been taking the time to learn to ask about each other and “connect”. We have been thinking about what makes a good listener, and taking time out to ask each other questions such as “Who inspires you and why?” and “What are you most proud of?”
