Year 3 blog

Year 3 have had a fantastic half term. We have been immersed in our Guess Whose Coming to Dinner book and have thoroughly enjoyed 'getting into role' in our writing lessons by writing an invitation to entice our characters to our stately home. We have also been exploring how we can use the technique of a 'play on words' to create subtle hints to the reader that our intentions are not always as they seem!

In Geography, we have also enjoyed learning about climate change and how this is affecting the polar regions in particular. We have been linking this to our vision to be Architects of a Better World and have discussed ways in which we could make a difference.

We are also excited to share our class assembly next week to the rest of the school on the importance of kindness and how this links to us being Architects of a Better World.
