Welcome to Sinclair Primary

At Sinclair we are committed to ensuring that each child is valued, cared for and given every opportunity to achieve their potential. We are keen to promote excellent standards of learning and behaviour through high quality teaching and a broad and exciting curriculum. We ensure that every pupil is challenged and developed in every aspect of their learning. Everyone who visits our school comments on the wonderful atmosphere. They say ‘there is a real sense of learning, behaviour is good and the children are polite and friendly’.

Sinclair Primary & Nursery school is an outstanding school in Southampton and everyone associated with it is committed to ensuring the children enjoy the highest quality of educational opportunities. Under the leadership of a highly experienced and nationally recognised team, our schools work in partnership to offer an enriching, diverse and wellbeing-centred educational journey for every child.

Our Executive Headteacher, Gerida Montague MBE — ex National Leader in Education and an Associate HMI for Ofsted - jointly leads with Ian Prince, Co-Executive Headteacher and Quality of Education specialist. Together, they bring vision, unity and deep expertise to our Executive Board and school leadership teams, ensuring a nurturing, ambitious and outstanding provision across all our settings.

Our family of expert practitioners is widely respected beyond our own community. They regularly coach, mentor and support schools across the UK and internationally, sharing best practice and strengthening education for all.
