Year 6 blog, day 3:

After a hearty breakfast, we took on the 10-metre climbing wall! The children showed incredible courage and determination as they climbed to the top. Those who reached the summit were rewarded with the exciting challenge of abseiling back down – a fantastic achievement!

After lunch, we headed out on a coastal walk, where we explored the shoreline and discovered lots of fascinating wildlife, including jellyfish, shrimp, crabs and sea anemones. We were also incredibly lucky to witness the RNLI returning to base following a rescue. The crew kindly showed us around their lifeboat station and shared some of the amazing work they do to keep people safe at sea.

We continued our walk along the coast, spotting even more interesting wildlife and learning about the local environment before heading back for tea.

This evening, the fun continues with a scavenger hunt! Another fantastic day full of adventure, teamwork and unforgettable experiences.
