Year 2 blog:
Year 2 were thrilled to receive a special letter inviting them to an Elf Toy Workshop at Sinclair today. They were joined by two of Santa’s elves: Head Elf, Santa’s right-hand helper and the boss of the workshop, and Lazy Elf, the only elf available to assist Head Elf.
The children were welcomed into a bustling toyshop set in front of a cozy fireplace. However, the warmth proved too inviting for Lazy Elf, who used it as the perfect excuse to sneak in a nap! Meanwhile, Head Elf captivated the children by explaining all the important jobs elves carry out in the workshop as they prepare for Christmas.
Some lucky children were even chosen to become “Elves in Training,” taking on special tasks to experience the magic firsthand. Things took an unexpected turn when Mr. Pallet came to investigate the trail of glitter left all over the school—only to find himself being wrapped up by the mischievous elves!
Over the coming weeks, Year 2 will all get a chance to become Elves in Training. These exciting experiences will inspire them to write diary entries from the perspective of either a hardworking or a lazy elf.
