Blue Peter Book Club: LIVE!

Sinclair Primary and Nursery School pupils were absolutely thrilled to be showcased within a special episode of Blue Peter, the "Blue Peter Book Club LIVE" event!

Images of our Reading Ambassadors can be seen throughout the programme, enjoying reading books in our school library! Previous children's laureate Cressida Cowell featured on the episode too, talking about the importance of reading for pleasure, as did Joseph Coelho, the current children's laureate. 

We have had a new arrival of 'Blue Peter Book Club' books at school - our Reading Ambassadors will be reading x6 new stories to pupils in their lunchtimes, we have been so proud of their dedication to promoting reading for pleasure in our school this year!
