Our butterflies have emerged just in time for half-term! We have loved watching our caterpillars crawl around their tiny home, eat their special food, grow bigger and longer each day, form their chrysalises and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies, just like in 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' story.

The children have been fascinated by observing each stage of the lifecycle and learning how caterpillars transform into butterflies. We are all looking forward to releasing them so they can continue their lifecycle out in the world around us.
