Nursery blog:

During October the nursery children have been exploring activities related to two of our favourite stories, ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’ and ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. This has continued our exploration of fun with bears. We have also been exploring the wet rainy days in our rain suits. During the story focus Goldilocks and the three bears’ the children were actively engaged in comparing sizes, touch count to three, tasting porridge and learning a new rhyme - “When Goldilocks went to the house of the bear…” During the story focus of ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ the children had the opportunity to explore their senses using sensory trays containing: water, grass, mud, snow, sticks and leaves, and a cave. We all went on a bear hunt and attempted to use preposition language to describe where we found a bear.
