Year 1 & 2 Update

Our year 1 and 2 children have thoroughly enjoyed picking the vegetables from our garden this half term and weeding the beds in preparation for setting the garden for winter. The children have made great progress and have been really enthusiastic about how their influence in the garden will develop throughout the year. All children will have an opportunity to spend time in the garden this year with Mrs Bridges and with their whole class; learning about the different seasons and jobs to be done in order to grow our own fruit and vegetables that can later be used in our kitchen. We are very excited to see how our gardening develops over the coming months and look forward to sharing with you some growing successes throughout the year!
