Ugly Bug Ball:
Today Year R had an exciting day of fun, fostering our love for nature, science and dressing up for our ugly bug ball. We were very impressed by all
of the amazing costumes. This day has helped our children to learn about the tiny creatures around us, develop a deeper appreciation for the environment
and the incredible diversity of life. It has been lovely to see imaginations sparked and the costumes that were produced. During today’s activities we
have gone on a minibeast hunt, we had a minibeast parade in the hall and sang some songs and played some games. Additionally, we painted rocks like
minibeasts to go in our garden. We also made symmetrical painted butterflies and chalked spider webs. We read some facts and created our own fact files
and we made minibeasts using clay. We had a great day celebrating the wonderful world of minibeasts!
