Year 6 blog:

Today was the big day with climbing, surfing and a campfire all on the agenda. 

After breakfast, we equipped ourselves with harnesses and made our way to the climbing wall. The safety demonstration showed the importance of teamwork and communication. The children showed good composure in ascending the wall and several then abseiled down.

The afternoon provided the highlight of the week: an afternoon in the ocean surfing. Many managed to stand on the surfboard, most managed it on their knees and all enjoyed just being in the water. It was a fitting last afternoon activity. 

The evening meal was a BBQ followed by a campfire experience complete with toasted marshmallows!
