Christmas Extravaganza:

We had an amazing time on Friday celebrating the Sinclairs Christmas Extravaganza, and it was wonderful to see our school community come together in such a festive spirit.

Parents were excited to watch the house performances, where children confidently shared how the Global Goals we learn about in school can be used during the festive period. It was inspiring to see pupils making meaningful links between their learning and real life.

The audience was then delighted by a fantastic selection of songs. Festive favourites included Merry Christmas Everyone, Last Christmas, The 12 Days of Christmas and All I Want for Christmas Is You, alongside traditional classics such as We Three Kings, Little Donkey and Silent Night. The singing truly got everyone into the Christmas spirit.

After the performances, the school fair officially opened. The stalls and games had all been thoughtfully planned and made by the children as part of our Enterprise Initiative. At the start of the school year, each class was given £5 and, with the help of their elected CEO, challenged to grow this money through creativity, teamwork and problem-solving.

There was an impressive range of items to buy, including Christmas decorations, handmade cards, biscuits and bracelets. Children also designed and ran a variety of games such as Tin Can Alley, Table Football and Lucky Dips. The ever-popular nail varnish stall was a big hit, as always! Refreshments included the much-loved school cake stall, and the raffle proved extremely popular too.

A huge thank you to our pupils, staff and families for making the event such a success. Watch this space to find out how much money was raised!
