Year 6 Blog - Day 4
On Thursday we had an action-packed day: to begin with we had beach games. We had a pleasant walk to the emptiest park of the beach where we built and decorated sand castles, played some silly relay games and had some free time to explore the area.
We came back for lunch and prepared for a really exciting highlight of the trip… climbing and abseiling. The brave explorers of Sinclair school scaled the extremely tall climbing tower like mountaineers tackling Everest. We came, we saw and we conquered both our fear of heights and the tower.
In the evening the cooks had set up an amazing barbecue outside the dinner hall and we ate heartily as we sat in the sun on lawn.
In the evening we had a campfire, learned to make our own small fires with flint and steel and then toasted marshmallows before hot chocolate and movie night.
What a day- can’t believe it’s almost our last day!
