Architects of a Better World
This half term, our classes have been enjoying exploring the key behaviours that make our vision of becoming 'Architects of a Better World'. We had an assembly all together, to discuss the vision and to identify what behaviours we would need to demonstrate in order to realise this vision. The children had some fantastic ideas, including being kind, compassionate, resilient and critical thinkers. Each class has then taken one of these behaviours to investigate in more depth. We have thoroughly enjoyed the 3 class assemblies from year 6, 5 and 4 so far where children have taught us what it means to be a critical thinker, a role model and ensure equality in all that we do. We are excited to hear year 3, 2 and 1's class assemblies over the coming weeks.
We are all very excited to put the learning into practice and work towards becoming Architects of a Better World. Our efforts will be recognised next half term with postcards being sent home to children who have been seen demonstrating some of these behaviours around school - could the first postcards be landing on your doorstep?
