Eco Recycling Bin Blog

This week in Eco Club, the Eco Team discussed the issues with recycling at Sinclair. When people are either lazy or don’t know any better, rubbish can be put in the wrong bins!

This is terrible, if things could have been recycled, but even worse if they are in the recycling bin and are not recyclable.

We discussed how this makes it harder for people who work at recycling plants who might just make them throw the whole contents of the bin away.

What a waste of effort and think about all of the items that could have been recycled? Well, not on our watch!

We have made amazing recycle posters to put on the recycling bins so that everyone knows exactly what needs to go in them. No more tissues, no more unrecyclable plastic and old paper that cannot be used any more. We will recycle responsibly and be role models for all schools in our area.
