Reading Ambassadors blog:

Two of our fabulous Reading Ambassadors, Phoebe and Sienna, received a letter from MP Satvir Kaur at the end of term, thanking them for their handwritten letter about our school and local libraries, suggesting how Government can support with ensuring reading for pleasure is 'top of the class' across the country. MP Satvir Kaur wrote a lovely reply to our ambassadors, who were delighted to receive a letter from the House of Commons! Reading Ambassadors from across our partnership will be meeting Satvir for a Q&A about all things reading in February.

Phoebe was also nominated for the School Library Association ‘Pupil Library Assistants of the Year’ for her amazing work so far this year in the library and for promoting reading for pleasure in our school.

Although she has not progressed to the final, she was sent a certificate by the SLA and the judging panel wished to acknowledge her "tremendous accomplishment", stating that "you should be so proud of your work. Thank you for not only being supportive of your school library but also for being a wonderful advocate for it within the school."
