Children's Hospital Pyjama Fundraiser:

Children's Hospital Pyjama Fundraiser

This half term we will be raising money for the Children's Hospital Pyjamas Charity (Registration Number 1185739).

They are a UK-based charity which collects donations of brand new pyjamas, from the public, which they then donate to hospitals, hospices and women’s refuges across the UK. These are then given to poorly or less fortunate children who are inpatients.

We are asking each pupil to come in to school in their pyjamas and for each family to make a donation of £2. All of our partnership schools will be taking part - we are hoping to raise £3,000 across our settings for the charity!

As part of the day, each teacher will be choosing a special 'bedtime' story to share in their classroom. Pupils will have the opportunity to choose which story they want to hear and visit that teacher for storytime. We're hoping that everyone will feel cosy and relaxed in their pyjamas, as well as enjoying raising money for a good cause!

Please find attached the assembly shared with pupils in assembly, that details more about the charity's aims and mission.

Please look out for a letter sharing the date of the event and a link to the charity's Just Giving page. We are not accepting cash donations for this event - all donations need to be made online.

Don't forget - children will still need school shoes for going outside to play! Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
