Year 1 blog:

Year 1 have made a fantastic start to their phonics lessons and are showing great enthusiasm and confidence when learning new sounds. We have been working in small groups to practise our phonics sounds and this helps us blend sounds together and segment words carefully. It has been wonderful to see the children listening carefully, joining in and building their confidence as they develop their early reading and spelling skills.
