The Spanish Armada

As part of our history learning about The Spanish Armada, the children re-enacted the battle, using classroom resources as ships, beacons and fireships, using art straws to mark out the coast of Europe. They were able to show how the Spanish sailed in a crescent shape, and how the fireships and strong winds affected the outcome of the battle.
