Gardening Award:

We are delighted to announce that Sinclair has achieved the RHS School Gardening Award Level 5!

This fantastic achievement recognises the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm shown by our children, staff, families and wider community in developing our school garden and outdoor learning spaces.

Achieving RHS Level 5 is a significant milestone, requiring schools to demonstrate that their garden is sustainable, actively used throughout the year and fully integrated into the wider community. To reach this level, schools must show:

Strong community involvement, with parents, volunteers and local supporters taking part in gardening activities.

Active growing and maintenance across all four seasons, ensuring the garden remains a thriving learning environment throughout the year.

A clear vision for the future, with pupils able to talk confidently about the plants they grow and how the garden will continue to be used and developed for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils, who have embraced every opportunity to learn, grow and care for our environment. From planting and harvesting to supporting wildlife and learning about sustainability, they have shown remarkable commitment and passion.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our gardening journey so far. This award celebrates what can be achieved when a school and its community work together. We look forward to continuing to develop our outdoor spaces and inspiring the next generation of gardeners and environmental champions.
