Our New Eco Area is Open!

We are delighted to announce that our new eco area is officially open, and we couldn’t be more excited! Last week, our OWWL staff and pupils were busy preparing the space, carefully weeding and getting our new raised beds ready so that each group can begin planting a variety of new flowers and fresh fruits and vegetables.

We’re especially proud of our two new polytunnels, which will allow us to grow even more produce throughout the year. As part of our eco-friendly approach, we cleared fallen leaves and reused them to create mulch, helping to enrich the soil naturally. We have also begun creating a log pile to provide valuable habitats for insects and are looking ahead to developing our forest school area, including an exciting mud kitchen for hands-on exploration and play.

We can’t wait to share this wonderful space with our school community and look forward to welcoming you to our grand opening very soon!
