OWWL blog:
From Our OWWL Garden to the Family Table!
Our children have been busy harvesting the herbs they have grown as part of OWWL, carefully bundling them up for families to take home and enjoy in their own cooking.
Over the weekend, Charles took some of the freshly harvested herbs home and used them to make a delicious-looking spaghetti Bolognese!
We think it looks absolutely yummy, and we love seeing the children’s hard work in the garden making its way from the soil to the family dinner table.
It’s a wonderful way for our children to see the rewards of growing their own produce, develop practical life skills and share something they have nurtured with their families.
Well done, Charles! We hope you enjoyed your homegrown harvest
