Year 4 blog:

Making a Splash! Year 4 Learn to Swim

Year 4 have been making a splash at our local swimming pool, developing their swimming skills and building their confidence in the water!

Learning to swim is an incredibly important life skill. It helps children to stay safe around water, develop their physical fitness and build confidence, perseverance and resilience. During their sessions, the children have been practising their skills, listening carefully to instructions and working hard to improve.

We have been so proud of Year 4’s fantastic behaviour throughout their swimming sessions. They have represented Sinclair brilliantly, showing respect for the swimming instructors, following instructions sensibly and supporting one another as they learn.

It has been wonderful to see the children growing in confidence, challenging themselves and enjoying this valuable opportunity to learn a skill that could stay with them for life.

Well done, Year 4! You have made us very proud. Keep swimming, keep learning and keep making a splash!
