Day 1:

Year 2 have had a very exciting delivery today… our duck eggs have arrived! 

The classroom was full of excitement as we carefully set up the incubator and brooder box, ready to begin our duckling journey. But the biggest surprise came when we realised one of the eggs had already started hatching during delivery, what incredible timing!

Even more “egg-citing,” another duckling is currently pecking its way out of its shell as we watch. The children have been fascinated, quietly observing and cheering on our newest arrivals.

We can’t wait to see how many more hatch over the next few days and to watch them grow.
