This half term, we have started our ‘Number of the Week’ learning in Maths. Each week, we will begin by exploring our focus number, saying it, recognising it and practising how to write it. We will then develop our understanding by counting to and from the number, finding its place on a number line, and partitioning it to explore number bonds.

Through these activities, we are building children’s confidence and developing their understanding of numbers in a fun and engaging way.
