Year 2 have been busy becoming instruction writers! Inspired by George’s Marvellous Medicine, we created our own recipes for making Grandma Nice! 

We explored different word classes, including adjectives, adverbs, imperative verbs and nouns, and thought carefully about how these words help make our instructions clear, exciting and entertaining. The children had great fun choosing their ingredients and writing their own marvellous instructions to create Grandma Nice!
